Colin Macnab

Bio Notes:

Born Aberfeldy, Scotland in the Police Station. Educated (some say not!) at Perth High School. Left in 77 to join the Army as a Junior Leader Royal Armoured Corps, after 2 months as a painter and decorator. Joined Scots DG in 78 and service in Catterick, Sennelager, Belfast, Tidworth, then commissioned after 15 month course ar Sandhurst (officer school). Joined Royal Corps of Transport as a "Rupert", served in Duisburg, Belfast (x 2) Aldershot and Bracknell at the RAF Officer Staff College. Posted then to Scotland to the Scottish Transport Regiment Royal Logistic Corps in Dunfermline. Left Regular Army in 2001 and enlisted into the Reserves, stayed within the Scot Tpt Regt and moved to 221 Transport Squadron in Glasgow in 2003 where I am today. Joined RBL whilst posted near Bexhill on Sea and, the RBL Riders in Jul 10 from which I decided Scotland should have some of that, contrary to what Reg said at the first meeting! Anyway, approached RBLS who seized my enquiry and here we are. Only started "social" biking in 2000 and have owned only sports bikes. Looking to increase the publics awareness of the plight of veterans and their families in Scotland and, reach 150 members during 2011. Finally, hoping that the slogan/branding of "Voices for Veterans" reaches the heights of "Help for Heroes".
